And this one from Donald Rumsfeld, ex US Secretary of Defence:
"There are known knowns. There are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we now know we don’t know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we do not know we don’t know"

Today, the blog stats reached 222.
I think its a pretty useless number. I do believe that some people might find it great. This is why i m writing actually. I write to declare the uselessness of the 222 number. It belongs to a category whose usefulness rests in the realm of repetition, deja-vu and predictfulness. Hail to the 2. "Give me one cause one is best" (Coldplay)...Ah...human behaviors...USELESS

Comment on Peace: A Useless Concept ? by BillyMurphy

Peace: A useful concept?

Yes, a banal flip of medal. Yes, of course it is useful concept, why state the obvious for?
Well perhaps because we never ask ourselves why it is so useful. The answer lies in the word; or rather its lexical patron: good. Then follows another, yet similar question: is good a useful concept. Again, instead of stating why good is useless, lets see why it’s useful. First thing that comes in mind is the following: it is useful because it divides, because it segregates good from bad. It hence allows for diversity and not only duality because of all the grays that “gradienty” sweep their divide. Now, what creates war? Differences. More than “inferiority”, it is difference that we seem not to accept. It is difference that turns us into Darwin’s creature. The question is why don’t we accept that difference? Why must difference result into war(bad) instead of peace(good). Because if difference is peace(good), than how can all those different creatures consume and subsume the same products? How can they all accept the same decisions? How can they all live the same? The answer is that they can not. Difference must be war(bad). Homogeneity is healthy Economy. Economy is the thermometer of good and evil.

POINT BEING: Within each cultural realm lay a peace and war value. Between two cultures lay a peace and war value. If we look at them closely, they all share commonalties. But above and between them all lay the Thermometer, the Banker, the Prosecutor.
